Description

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice - Level Year 1 at our Ford Kroonstad dealership. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced technicians and gain valuable hands-on experience in the automotive industry. Apprenticeship programme; assisting with the repair of vehicles while working under the supervision of a qualified Technician; fulfilling the MerSETA requirements of the trade, mastering level tests and qualifying.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with various tasks such as diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Learn to use diagnostic equipment and tools
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Attend scheduled technical/ level training courses
• To assist with the repair of vehicles in order to obtain practical experience under the supervision/instruction of a Technician

Qualifications

• Matric certificate with Mathematics and Physical Science
• N3 Certificate from an accredited technical college
• Valid, unendorsed driver’s license
• Clear criminal record
• Interest and passion for the automotive industry
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
